I was so taken by the outfits worn by Eve Moneypenny in the new James Bond movie "Skyfall" that I created a post with outfit recreations:  Skyfall Style: Eve Moneypenny.  I took the opportunity to snag pieces from Express to recreate Eve's sexy Shanghai style during their Black Friday sale (50% off everything!).  While the high-waisted skirt I initially posted was sold out, I really like the length of this "Welt Pocket Pencil Skirt" and was pleased that the color of the blouse and skirt match wonderfully.  Because this skirt is has a natural waist rather than a high-waist, I opted for a skinny python belt and matching pumps to add some additional texture to the outfit.  The blouse is a little bit loose, so I may look at getting it altered to taper the sides or just keep using my tuck and fold trick as shown in my Nip and Tuck post from August.

I also found another great matching red blouse/skirt option at the Limited - these pieces are newer and all sizes are available.  I really like the additional texture that the jacquard print skirt provides!  Check out the pieces below:

Left: "Buckle-Placket Blouson Blouse" in engine red, $49.90 at the Limited here
Right: "Jacquard Pencil Skirt" in red print, $59.90 at the Limited here

Would you wear bold matching separates like Eve's?  If not red, is there another color that you would be comfortable wearing the same shade for top and bottom?  Thanks for reading!
