Pattern Mixing: Navy Stripes & Polka Dots

I flew down to San Francisco this weekend for a quick trip that included an amazing dinner at State Bird Provisions (James Beard Award winner for Best New Restaurant 2013) an afternoon of wine tasting in Napa Valley, and quality time with friends old and new.  These photos were taken at Round Pond Estate, a beautiful winery with bold Cabernets that consistently receive ratings above 90 points.  I've been a member of Round Pond Estate for about five years now (I think? I keep forgetting how long it's been), and always try to visit when I'm down in the Bay Area.  This weekend I was loving the comfortably warm weather, and paired this navy striped anchor sweater with polka dot shorts for some casual pattern mixing.  Bow pumps and my GiGi New York Uber Clutch completed this easy outfit that was perfect for relaxing on the terrace with our food and wine pairings.
