Restaurant Review: Tray Kitchen Brunch, Seattle, WA

I hope your 2015 is off to a great start!  Have you entered my current giveaway?  If not, please click here for details on how you can enter to win one of three great prizes: a $100 gift card to Nordstrom, a $100 gift card to Victoria's Secret, or a $100 gift card to ASOS!

Today's restaurant name might sound familiar because I recently posted a dinner review here.  Tray Kitchen is one of my current favorite restaurants in Seattle, located between the Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods.  They recently started serving brunch in addition to dinner, so of course we had to check it out.  Tray Kitchen's owner/chef Heong Soon Park sources ingredients from either his nearby Woodinville, Washington farm or local suppliers for his dim-sum style dishes with a Korean twist.
We grabbed my sister and her boyfriend and made a reservation for last Saturday morning.  Please read on for details of our delicious brunch at Tray Kitchen.

Starting off brunch with a mimosa and a bloody mary, of course.

Chinese donuts with sriracha-chocolate dipping sauce..

House-cured bacon bibimbap with short grain rice, seasonal vegetables, and fried egg.

Loco moco with chicken-fried kalbi patty, short grain rice, pork miso gravy, and fried egg.

Braised beef short rib congee bowl with pickled daikon and soft poached egg.

Szechuan spicy pork sausage congee bowl with broccoli stems and soft poached egg.

Congee bar cart with a selection of toppings and sauces to add to the congee bowls.

Seafood pancake with scallion, onion, jalapeno, and fried egg.

Don't these photos make you hungry?  I hope you enjoyed this visual tour of our brunch at Tray Kitchen, and if you are in the Seattle area it is definitely worth a visit.  For more information on Tray Kitchen, check out the link below:
