Spring Style: Floral Ruffle Top

I hope everyone had a great weekend! It started to feel like spring here in Seattle with sunshine, blooming flowers, and temperatures approaching 60 degrees. It felt so wonderful to be outside without a jacket this weekend, and I was also excited to be able to style this new floral ruffle top that has all of the springtime feels. To be fair, I did wear this blouse once already to work...but with a shawl cardigan over it so you couldn't see all of its bright colors and ruffly goodness. I tried both a regular XS and petite XS, and ultimately chose the petite XS because it was not only shorter but fit better all around. In today's outfit I paired this floral ruffle top with skinny jeans, red bow pumps, and a camera-style bag to run errands and enjoy the sunshine on Saturday afternoon. I love the pops of blue, red, and yellow that can be accentuated with other pieces of an outfit. Today I chose red pumps because red is my favorite pop of color, but the next time I wear this top I would like to style it with yellow pumps or a yellow skirt for an even more cheerful springtime look. My top is currently 40% off with code FRIENDS40, along with many other amazing spring pieces, but run don't walk because the sale ends tonight! Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for spring-perfect floral pieces.
