Spring Style: Suede Jacket + Loafers

Two weeks ago I shared the first of two outfits photographed with our beautiful local cherry blossoms, and today I want to share the second. I mentioned in that previous post that I decided to style neutral toned looks to let the pink cherry blossoms be the stars of the photos, and you will notice today's outfit shares the same luxurious feeling suede jacket. Suede pieces continue to have a strong presence this spring, and this jacket is definitely going to stay in constant rotation now that the weather is warming up. Since it was still chilly that particular morning, I layered my ivory cashmere quarter zip sweater (very on trend this spring and seen before in this post) and stayed quite cozy. Ivory/off-white jeans and tan loafers make this ensemble a great option for a casual office day or weekend. For my bag, I chose a Prada crossbody in a gorgeous, rich shade of red that I purchased in Italy back in December 2019. After taking photos with the cherry blossoms, my hubby and I enjoyed a tasty brunch at a local favorite restaurant and a relaxing rest of our Sunday.
