Peplum + Pencil Skirt

Happy Tuesday!  My apologies for my absence last week, I caught one of the bugs that have been going around and sleeping won over blogging.  However, a week of resting and snuggling with the pup on the couch were just what I needed.  I'm feeling much better this week, and want to share with you an outfit that I wore a couple of weeks ago when the weather was sunny and warm.  This particular outfit is one of my favorite spring combos for the office: a peplum top with a printed pencil skirt in light spring hues of pink and orange.  I added my favorite neutral work pumps and a gorgeous gold and red necklace that one of my best girlfriends brought back from Thailand.  This is such a great statement piece, and I have received so many compliments on it!  Swapping out my work tote with a neutral clutch easily transitions this outfit from day to night.
