Pleated Midi Skirt + Crop Sweater

Hello and happy Friday! I do apologize for my lack of new posts the last couple of weeks--I have been on the move traveling for work, the Memorial Day weekend holiday, and then work again.  As I write this, I am sitting in a hotel room late at night because of a cancelled flight, and I should be sleeping because I need to head back to the airport in a few hours for a set of rescheduled flights that will hopefully get me home this afternoon/evening. However, I want to share a lovely spring outfit with you in an overdue post instead.  These photos are from a shoot with Bello Photography about a month ago, on a cool spring morning at one of the local Seattle parks.  This pleated midi skirt is an old favorite, seen last summer here.  This skirt contains multiple bright colors creating a number of color pairing options, and this time I chose a cobalt blue cropped sweater (one of my favorite shades of blue).  Nude pumps and a tan clutch help to balance out those brights with some neutrals, and I love the contrast created by this bright outfit against a woodsy background.  Please scroll through for outfit details and more of my summer midi skirt picks!
