Spring Style: Sheer Wrap Dress

Can you believe that yesterday was the first day of spring? This year is already flying by, and I am quite happy to leave the cold, snow, and winter weather behind. Fortunately, I was able to escape the cold a couple of times this winter to soak up some sunshine and vitamin D. One trip was a 2.5 week road trip through Australia around the Christmas and New Year's holidays (you can find those posts here), and another was a girls' weekend in Belize in mid-February. Belize is just south of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea, and February felt absolutely perfect with sunshine and temperatures between the mid-70's and low 80's. We stayed on Ambergris Caye, which is Belize's largest island and located just off the Belize Barrier Reef. It was wonderful to be able to pack lighter spring clothing for this weekend getaway, and I chose this sheer wrap dress and heels for dinner with my girlfriends. We walked out on one of the docks by our hotel to take photos just after sunset, because the light and the water were just so pretty. The way the breeze flared my skirt was an added blogger bonus! Sheer fabrics are right on trend this spring, so please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for sheer wrap dresses that I think would be perfect to style this season.
