Travel Style: Australia Road Trip, Byron Bay

Who is excited for to start wearing their spring wardrobe? ::raises hand fanatically:: I sure am! I really cannot complain, because we recently spent almost three weeks in Australia over the Christmas and New Year holidays during the southern hemisphere summer and I loved every minute of sunshine. You can see my other Australia posts here, and today I want to share one more post on the coastal town of Byron Bay. We spent four days/three nights in Byron Bay at the end of our Australia road trip adventure, and after two weeks of unpacking and repacking every night the group was grateful to setting into the same space for a few days. Byron Bay is a very popular vacation destination because of its beautiful beaches, scuba diving, and surfing opportunities. We visited several of those gorgeous white sand beaches, enjoyed lots of good food (although it is not cheap--expect tourist prices), and just enjoyed taking it slow for a few days. My dear friend and fellow Instagrammer Debbie Wang Jelen, Debbie's wonderful husband and photographer Michael, and I took the opportunity to visit the Cape Byron Lighthouse at sunrise for an early morning photo shoot. The early morning light and views were just gorgeous, so please scroll through to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for spring-perfect pieces.

Blouse: same style current colors here, here, and here
Shorts: similar here
Wedges: currently loving this style and this style for spring!

We worked up appetites during our morning photo shoot, so we headed to a cute little cafe close to the main Byron Beach that opens at 6:30am. We started with coffee because they were not serving food yet when we arrived, and then ordered breakfast about half an hour later.

For the fashion lovers, I rounded up more great options for blouses and wedges that I think will be perfect to style this spring. Be sure to scroll through the widget to see all of my picks below:

What spring trends are you most looking forward to? I know I sure am excited for warmer weather and sunshine! I hope you enjoyed my Australia travel series, and you can view all five of these posts all at any time by clicking on the Australia label in my sidebar. I want to give a huge thank you to Deborah Wang Jelen & her hubby Michael Jelen for waking up before sunrise, taking these photos, and editing them for me! Thank you for visiting my blog today, and I hope you have a wonderful week!
