Spring Style: Printed Maxi Dress + Faux Suede Jacket

I know that wearing dresses is probably the farthest thing from your mind these days, but let me make a case to change your mind. If there is one piece of clothing that is comfortable, stylish, and versatile all at the same time it is a maxi dress! A printed maxi dress like this one, a gem I recently picked up on sale from Anthropologie, is an all-in-one outfit that can take you from day to night with a simple change of shoes or jacket. Or as is the case these days, from the home office during the day to the living room couch at night! Either way, it doesn't hurt that this dress is made of super soft jersey fabric with a flattering shape. In today's outfit, I styled this maxi dress with a faux suede jacket, my new favorite neutral sandals, and longtime favorite neutral clutch for a cooler spring day. This dress will also look fabulous styled with a fedora or straw hat this summer, there are so many possibilities. Please scroll through for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for printed maxi dresses that I think can be the star of your closet this summer and beyond.

  4. What a fabulous dress! I love the print and the colors would be easily matched up with so many layers to stay warm in the summer evenings. I have been searching for a great maxi dress, but so often I struggle with finding the right length. Being 5'4" I often find they are too long, but this just looks like the right length on you.

Have a great week ahead. Hopefully its sunny and warm!

  12. Case made! I have been dressing up every day, but just yesterday I was thinking how sad it is that all my summer dresses will stay in the closet this year. I am convinced and wearing a dress today after my workout.
    Have a great weekend!
