Fall Style: Bralette + Bodysuit

Wishing a wonderful Labor Day holiday to my US and Canada based followers! Paid holidays and long weekends are always appreciated, but Labor Day always feels like the unofficial end of summer and beginning to fall as temperatures start to drop and leaves start to turn. We have had a few cooler evenings lately here in Seattle, and today I am showing you a fall outfit that I wore last weekend for a double dinner date with a couple of dear friends (with masks of course). This bralette and bodysuit are a late-in-the-game Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchase--a couple of pieces that I originally liked but sold out before I made up my mind during the presale. I kept them in my wishlist and checked back daily, snagging a size small in the bralette and extra small in the bodysuit when they came back into stock and I am so glad that I did. The dark green is such a gorgeous fall color, and these two pieces together are a sexy and stylish pairing for date night or a night out with friends. In today's outfit, I added high-waist black skinny jeans and ankle strap heels for our double dinner date, but I can easily see swapping them for a faux leather skirt and pumps for an alternate solution. Please scroll through for more photos, outfit links, and more fabulous bralette and bodysuit options that I think could be perfect pairings this fall.

  6. This is such a great date night look, a little sexy yet not overly sexy (if that makes sense). I love the green on you and would have never guessed that was a bodysuit! I love your clutch, too.

  8. Love the color on the bodysuit! I have been toying with the idea of getting one as I have been tucking things in more with some of my skirts and it would give some clean lines.

    1. Bodysuits are so great to wear with skirts, to avoid bunching up just like you said! I absolutely recommend giving one a try! =)

  11. Love these looks - so true as well, if you feel your top is a little low, then a bralette/bodice solves the problem!

I love this: https://www.saintgenies.co.uk/callie-black-underwired-stretch-lace-thong-bodysuit/ I always pop this on if I feel I am at risk of a 'slip'!
