Spring Style: Floral Bodysuit + Pink Pencil Skirt

We have officially made it to spring, and that means cherry blossom season here in Seattle! Cherry blossom season is a pretty big deal here, as every spring thousands of pink blossoms appear all around the city. It is worth sharing that back in 1976, former Japanese Prime Minister Takeo Miki gifted 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle to commemorate the longstanding friendship between Japan and the United States. While I do not know where those 1,000 trees were planted, one of the most popular places to view cherry blossoms is at my alma mater: the University of Washington. If you have been following me for a while, you have seen me shoot a number of spring outfits in this location (my favorites are here and here) and I was beyond happy to be back. In today's look, I decided to combine two of my favorite spring trends: florals and pink. I love the neutral tones in this floral print bodysuit, and while the last time you saw it I was wearing jeans this time I opted for a pale pink faux leather pencil skirt. A classic trench coat, neutral pumps, and my gorgeous taupe Celine Micro Belt Bag round out this desk-to-happy-hour ensemble. Please continue reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for floral and pink pieces that I think would look fabulous styled on their own or together this spring.
