Spring Style: Flare Jeans + Floral Ruched Top
Flared jeans are back this spring, and I am not mad about it. In past years I wore my multiple pairs of low rise J Brand Lovestory flares on repeat (examples here and here), and while I won't go back to low rise jeans I absolutely love the flattering retro fit of a high waist flare. I recently shared these light wash raw hem high waist flare jeans in my Instagram stories, thought about waiting for a sale but did not want to risk my size selling out. These jeans have a bit of stretch and a size 25 fits me perfectly, no hemming needed. I decided to keep the retro vibes going with this look by adding a top I shared in this recent post, one that I promised I would show you the puffed sleeves when the weather warmed up. Here they are! I can't get over all of the cuteness wrapped up in one top: the floral print, ruched bodice, peplum hem, and puffed sleeves. Braided sandals, a ruched clutch, and my favorite accessories round out this casual look. Please continue reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for flare jeans and pretty tops that I think could create perfect spring pairings.

DeleteKnocked it out of the park once again with this look! I love these flared jeans because they aren't over the top so I could definitely see myself pulling them off. I often struggle to fine a good fit because I am on the shorter side and don't want to get them hemmed (too many steps) and sometimes hemming flares looses some of the vibe. Anyway, I love everything in this casual outfit. Have a great weekend ahead.

Thank you kindly, Bojana! I was surprised that these jeans didn't need to be hemmed, I usually have the same problem. Definitely a nice surprise!

Thank you, Danielle! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteThose flared jeans are so perfect on you and I really like that pretty floral top with them for spring! Being petite I almost always have to get jeans hemmed, unless I buy cropped or 3/4 length ones, that are always the perfect length for me, haha! So good when you find a pair of jeans that don't need hemmed :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup! Hope you had a good weekend :) We enjoyed the sunshine after so many rainy weeks!
