Fall Essential: Crocodile Embossed Bucket Bag
After browsing this year's fall and winter handbag trends, the one I am most excited about is the return of the bucket bag. A couple of different budget-friendly bucket bag styles were in my collection in mid-2010s as I drooled over the Mansur Gavriel models that were not yet in my price range, but those bags have since been donated or sold. Fast forward to now, the bucket bag is back, and I just added this stunning crocodile embossed leather bucket bag to my collection c/o Sézane. Crocodile embossing is another fall winter 2023 bag trend, so this bag checks off not one but two trends this fall and the high quality leather and construction make this bag an affordable luxury piece at $275 before tax and shipping. I personally like having more organization in my bigger bags, so I also purchased a bag organizer (I think this is the exact one I purchased, but always recommend measuring to be sure you're getting the right size/fit) to place inside. Today I am sharing an outfit I wore this past weekend when my hubby and I went to check out a local Seattle night market with some great food trucks and smaller vendors. Since it was a dry but chilly afternoon and evening, I styled this crocodile embossed bucket bag with a military-inspired wool jacket, wool sweater, high waist jeans, booties, and my new Celine Triomphe belt. You probably won't believe how old this wool military style jacket is, but I purchased it on sale at JCrew back in my college days and the quality is so good that I still love it and wear it from time to time. The hip-length, structured shape is not far off from some current Sézane jackets like this green wool jacket and this houndstooth wool and kid mohair jacket that look so stylish and warm. Please continue on to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for bucket bags that I think would so chic styled this fall and beyond.
