Spring Style: Mixed Media Tank Dress + Strappy Flat Sandals

A dress and sandals is a classic summer outfit pairing, one that I think many of us consider a "go to" when the weather starts getting warmer. Every year there are slightly different trends, so today I would like you to meet my summer 2025 version of this classic combo. Mixed media dresses are everywhere this summer, and I recently ordered several to try out. This Mixed Media Tank Dress was the clear winner with a stretchy jersey top, a cotton poplin not-see-through skirt in my favorite midi length, and pockets. I mean, they really had me at pockets and a bra-friendly top (this alternate Mixed Media Midi Dress was really cute, but I couldn't wear a normal bra with it and it had no pockets, so it went back). I foresee styling this dress many ways now through fall, and often with these strappy flat sandals with a minimalist style that is maintaining popularity this year. Because this dress and sandals have a beachy vibe, I added a beach tote, several of my favorite beachy accessories, and a denim jacket to round out this casual look.
