Spring Style: Suede Jacket + Sweater Dress

Cherry blossom season has arrived! If you have been following me for a while you know that I have made it an annual tradition to visit my alma mater, the University of Washington, to shoot a couple of outfits under its historic and famous Yoshino cherry trees. Several examples from past years are here, here, and here. Peak bloom is right on time this year, falling this week, so I dragged my hubby over to UW Sunday morning to check out the scene. I chose outfits with a neutral palette to let the cherry blossoms be the star of the show, and just added a small pop of color with my bags. In today's look, I styled a cream sweater dress (seen before here) with one of this spring's biggest trends: a luxe suede jacket (also seen here.) Are you a fan of suede this season? I absolutely love the luxe texture that suede adds to an outfit. I also added knee boots, since it is too chilly yet for bare legs, and a pop of pink with this adorable Dior Miss Caro bag.
