Style Remix: Emerald, Polka Dots, & Piped Trench
I am still loving emerald green for spring, and these BR Hampton crops have been on steady rotation in my work wardrobe the last few months. Continuing the theme this week of restyling items in my closet, I combined these bright crops with navy pieces for a simple work look. These emerald crops were first seen in Emerald and Mint, the polka dot sweater most recently in Double Dots, and the trench coat was recently introduced in Piped Trench Coat. All three of these separates are wonderfully versatile and can be easily matched up with other items in my closet.
Trench: "Piped Navy Trench" in fall navy, $119.99 (on sale!) at Banana Republic here
Sweater: Banana Republic (no longer available), similar "Jersey Knit Polka Dot Pullover" in navy/cream, $17.80 at Forever 21 here
Blouse: BCBG (old), check out the "Essential Dress Shirt" in white, $17.80 at Forever 21 here
Pants: "Hampton Fit Crop" in whispering pine green, $69.99 (on sale!) at Banana Republic here
Pumps: Sam Edelman "Fiorenza" pump in taupe patent, taupe suede still available, $59.94 at DSW here
Bag: old, but I love the shape of the Illbeca by Gryson "Harrison ST Tote" in natural/dayglow, $174 at Amazon here
Ring: old, similar "Sterling Silver Polished Wave Ring," $26 at Kohl's here
I could easily swap these green crops for another bright color like pink or yellow and they would match just as well with the navy and white on top. In addition to the range of colors of the BR Hampton crop, there are quite a few other bright and bold crop options out there. Check out these great deals on crop pants in bright spring colors:
