Fall Layering: Sleeveless Fit & Flare Dress + Silk Blouse
One of the challenges for any budgeting fashionista is finding ways to make your favorite pieces stretch through seasons. A great example is a simple sleeveless fit-and-flare dress. As long as the dress has a crew neckline, you can easily layer a blouse underneath, add a statement necklace, and you have an instant fall outfit. It also makes the dress work appropriate if you have a business casual office like mine. For today's outfit I took a bright red summer dress and layered a neutral silk blouse underneath (one of my closet staples). Then I added peep-toe booties, a statement necklace, and my 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target tote. This chic combination is perfect for the office, a lunch date, and more! Please forgive the fact that my necklace is off-center, I failed to make sure it was perfectly adjusted before taking these photos.
