Fur Vest + Flared Denim + Fedora

Today I want to share with you another outfit I wore in Chicago a few weekends ago.  Our last day in the city was chilly but sunny, creating a perfect opportunity to wear some non-waterproof layers (we don't always have that opportunity in Seattle) including a faux fur vest and a wool fedora with a faux leather brim.  These two new pieces are quickly becoming favorites of mine this fall, and I paired them with flared denim, a simple turtleneck sweater, wedge booties, an ostrich print tote, and leather gloves.  I wore this outfit for lunch at the Purple Pig (details and photos here) and a stop at Millenium Park for more Bean photos before retreating indoors to watch Sunday afternoon football.  This ensemble also has a wonderful 1970's vibe and feels like something that Lauren Hutton would have worn or Farrah/Jaclyn/Kate could have rocked in the original Charlie's Angels.  I don't know about you, but I am 100% board with that cool factor.
