Labor Day Transitional Style
I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I have been loving these last few summer weekends, and today's outfit combines several elements that I love about the season: off-the-shoulder tops, culottes, ankle strap sandals, and beachy hair. While off-the-shoulder tops are the top of the summer, I believe you can continue to wear this style into fall with the right pair of pants or skirt. As an added bonus, many off-the-shoulder tops like mine are currently on sale at bargain prices! In today's outfit, I paired this striped top (it's now 50% off!) with navy culottes, nude ankle strap sandals, and an envelope clutch for date night. My beachy waves are a result of trying out the Sleep Stylers that I bought after seeing them pitched on Shark Tank (Lori invested!). I feel like I should create another post just on how I use the Sleep Stylers, but for today I'll just say that to get today's beachy waves I washed my hair, dried it almost all of the way, and then put in the microfiber rollers for about one hour. After an hour I took out the rollers, shook out the waves, and applied hairspray (This Evo Builder's Paradise is my go-to). Voila! Perfect beachy waves. Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for transitional items to wear now and right into fall.
