Fall Style: Print Mixing with Leopard & Plaid
Fall in the Pacific Northwest generally means rain, wind, and cooler temperatures that require lots of layers. The morning that these photos were taken was a typical Seattle fall one with drizzling rain--just enough to make the curls in my hair fall out and turn into frizz (sigh). Despite the rain, we had a great time seeking out a variety of vibrant leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows to create the perfect fall backdrop for today's layered outfit with mixed prints. Fall prints like leopard and plaid look great together, so it was a natural pairing to style this plaid wool skirt and leopard scarf (both are currently on sale!). I added an olive sweater, quilted vest, riding boots, and burgundy tote to complete the look. Scroll through for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for fall prints to style this fall. One more thing--if you have not yet entered the Thanksgiving Cash Giveaway, be sure to click here to learn how to enter for your chance to win!
