Fall Layering: Shift Dress + Button-up Shirt
I could wear dresses every day during the summer, but when fall arrives and temperatures drop it becomes too cold to wear them on their own. However, layering a button-up shirt or a fitted sweater under a dress instantly transitions the piece to fall. I have found that sheath dresses are the best style for this type of layering, and today I want to show you an example of an office-friendly ensemble. This black sheath dress and white button-up shirt are pieces that many of us already have in our closets, and so easy to style together! I was looking for a way to wear these white booties again before winter, but it would be just as easy to swap them out for a pair of pumps. Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for dresses and coordinating tops for some fall layering inspiration. Finally, be sure to enter the Thanksgiving Cash Giveaway before it ends this Thursday!
