Fall Style: Paper Bag Waist Pants + Striped Crop Top

Crisp mornings, turning leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and slow cooker season are here. ::happy sigh:: I did a small closet clean-out of old tops and sweaters recently, and added a few new ones to my closet including today's striped crop top from Asos. This pumpkin spice colored crop top gave me a chance to re-style these paper bag waist pants for fall weather (last seen in this spring style post). While these pants have not been featured here on my blog since this spring, they have been a frequent part of my work outfits through the summer and I am a huge fan of this style. In today's outfit, I paired these two pieces with cutout ankle boots and a bucket bag for a weekend trip to one of our local farmer's markets. Looking back through these photos, I'm not loving how the booties look with these pants--I'm just short enough that I feel like it doesn't work and I need to stick with pumps. Short people problems, I suppose! At the farmer's market, we tried some delicious fall flavored doughnuts including a coffee-flavored cake doughnut, lavender pear fritter, nectarine-filled thumbprint, and butternut squash cake doughnut. Yum! Please scroll through for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for paper bag waist pants that I think would look fabulous styled in fall outfits.
