Fall Essentials: Neutral Ankle Boots & Crossbody Bag

When I think about fall wardrobe essentials, a couple of neutral pieces come to mind that can be worn with just about everything: a pair of ankle boots and a crossbody bag. At first I thought this could be too boring of a topic to discuss in a blog post, but then I changed my mind when I thought more about how often I rely on these two pieces to complete an outfit. These booties and this bag are both several years old, and have been seen here on the blog many times (you can see a few examples here, here, here, and here). Both are ideal pieces for casual wear or travel, which you all know is right up my alley! In today's outfit, I styled them with a down vest and jeans for a laid back fall weekend hanging out with friends and watching football.
