Spring Style: Denim Skirt + White Ankle Boots

It is no secret that denim is synonymous with American style, and a denim miniskirt is a classic piece that everyone either has in their closet now or has had in their closet at one point in time. I grew up wearing every kind of denim--think dresses, jeans, overalls, shirts, shorts, skirts, all of it...and I have owned at least a couple dozen different denim skirts over time. This year, my favorite denim skirt style is a distressed mini and a recent spring sale spurred me to add this style to my closet. There are endless outfit opportunities with this skirt, but in today's look I paired it with my favorite white ankle boots (another spring staple), an ultra-comfy cropped sweater (also on sale!), and my go-to vegan leather crossbody bag.
