Holiday Outfit Ideas

Can you believe that Christmas is less than one week away? I am definitely feeling the impact of having one less week between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and am trying to finish up my Christmas shopping and wrapping this weekend. The last couple of months have been crazy with work and travel, and I am definitely feeling the pressure to get everything done in a limited amount of time. In the midst of the holiday rush, I want to share with you some holiday outfit ideas that I pulled from my own ensembles worn and shown here on the blog over the last couple of years. I think that all of these outfits are easy to recreate and fit with this year's trends--some looks contain pieces that have been brought back as returning favorites and are available again this holiday season, so be sure to check my links if you see something you like. Please read on to see my variety of dressy and casual holiday outfit ideas to inspire your own looks this season.

Now I love wearing red, but you don't have to wear a lot of it to get in the holiday spirit. Another great option is to start with a neutral outfit of black, grey, navy, or tan and just add a pop of red with a bag and lipstick. Check out the widget below to see more holiday-ready accent pieces.

If you are looking for a way to add festive color to your work outfits, look no further than adding a bright blazer to a neutral dress and pumps! I found more great options for bright holiday-worthy blazers in the widget below, be sure to scroll through to see all of your options.

Not all holiday outfits need to be dressy--sometimes a casual outfit is just the ticket for a gathering with family or friends. In that case, why not try a fun holiday printed sweater or sweatshirt with jeans and booties? Check out the widget below for more great ideas.

This last casual holiday outfit option is something I would and do wear all winter long--a leopard sweater with a pompom beanie--so why not wear this combo during the holidays? Take a look at more of my picks in the widget below.
