Athleisure: Faux Leather Belt Bag & Leggings

Those of you who have been following me for a while know that I love to travel, and I think I do a pretty good job of balancing my demanding full time job with both exploring new places and returning to my favorites. I am far from the world's most frequent traveler (I flew ~60k miles in 2019 with fewer international trips and more domestic weekend trips), but I think that I have logged enough flight miles over the years to have figured out how to put together a comfortable and stylish travel outfit combo. Today's outfit is one that I wore in transit to Italy for our recent New Year's trip with dear friends, and it includes several of my new favorite faux leather pieces. Let's start with the belt bag. I know that I am late to the belt bag train, but I am absolutely loving this affordable vegan leather number from one of my favorite bag brands Angela & Roi. This bag is the perfect size for travel, as it comfortably holds my card holder, lipstick, pocket hairbrush, and iPhone. In addition to wearing this bag around my waist, I also like to wear it like a small crossbody--you can see both methods below. Then there are these faux leather leggings, a style that some of my favorite bloggers have been raving about for months. I finally pulled the trigger to purchase and have been very happy with the look and fit! I suppose I am obsessed with faux leather pieces this winter--but is that a bad thing? Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for athleisure pieces to create your own comfortable and stylish weekend or travel outfit.
