How to Style Graphic Tees for the Summer to Fall Transition

Happy Monday, everyone! Can you all believe it is August already? Summer always feels like it takes forever to arrive, and then it disappears way too fast. I am doing my best to enjoy every moment of our beautiful Seattle summers with activities like hiking, paddle-boarding, and sunset beach picnics, and on the weekends you will often find me in a t-shirt and shorts. Since I think that tees are a year round closet staple, today I want to share with you three ways to style graphic tees for the summer to fall transition featuring shirts from The Home T. If you are not yet familiar with The Home T, this company makes insanely soft shirts with fun designs and also donates 10% of profit to multiple sclerosis research. You can check out their website here, and if you see something you like please use my code AVECAMBER-15OFF to save 15% off your purchase! I have purchased a number of shirts from The Home T over the last few years, the first being way back when they only made their signature state tees, so I was thrilled when they reached out to create a partnership. Please keep scrolling for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for fun graphic tees to style this summer, fall, and beyond.

If you have been following me for a while, you probably have already guessed why I chose this first graphic tee: I love my leopard print! Here I styled this tee with white denim shorts, tan suede booties, a tan fedora with leopard trim, and a tan clutch. I love the neutral grey, tan, and white palette here, it's all light and bright and perfect for sunny late summer and early fall days. A grey faux suede bomber jacket over the shoulders is a great option to add for cooler evenings, and of course you could also swap the shorts for jeans depending on the temperature.

This second tee reminds me of all of the adventures I've had (and will continue to have) in our US National Parks. I hope to visit all 63 eventually, and this shirt in particular reminds me of a glamping trip to Saguaro National Park with my girlfriends back in December 2019 (you can read that travel log here). In this transitional look, I styled this tee with white jeans, a utility jacket, tan suede booties, and my safari themed tote. Again here, the jeans could be swapped for shorts and you could ditch the jacket on a warmer late summer or early fall day.

This third outfit idea is actually one that I wore out in fall of 2019, and shared on Instagram, but it is worth sharing again because it fits our theme of styling a graphic tee for the summer to fall transition. This particular tee features a pumpkin with whipped cream and sprinkles, because of course pumpkin spice lattes are synonymous with fall, and I purchased it from The Home T that year. Adding jeans, a neutral blazer, and white sneakers is another great way to style your favorite graphic tees for the upcoming cooler weather.

The Home T has a large variety of shirts, so there really is something for everyone. In addition to my two shirts above, I rounded up a few more of my favorite styles for you to check out below. The Washington state tee is the same style that I purchased a several years ago (they have all 50 states for you to choose from), and the other two are perfect for the upcoming fall season:
