Chicwish Review 2022: Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas Part 2

Happy Monday, my friends, and wishing a restful Martin Luther King Day to everyone who is enjoying a long holiday weekend! Last week I shared part one of my Valentine's Day outfit ideas in partnership with Chicwish, and today I am excited to share part two with you. Don't forget that February is just around the corner, but there is still time to make your holiday plans and order a new outfit if you are celebrating this year. While last week's outfits leaned more casual, today I am showing you two dressy looks that could be perfect for a date night with your significant other, a night out with your besties, a family gathering, or just because. Most of you know how much I love a flattering a-line or flared skirt, they really accentuate or help create an hourglass figure, and these two skirts are going to be on steady rotation when I start working in my office again next month. Please continue reading for more photos, details, and links for both dressy Valentine's Day-ready looks.

This first dressed-up Valentine's Day outfit idea features an adorable heart print jacquard skirt and ruched long sleeve top. As soon as I saw this skirt, I knew it would be perfect for this Valentine collaboration and I absolutely love the flattering flared style. I followed the size chart and a size small fits me perfectly, hitting right at my knee with a high waist. I like that the fabric is thick and holds its shape very well, and the embroidered hearts are so pretty in person. This ruched top is also extremely versatile; I love how it is lightweight but not see-through and I know I will be wearing it far beyond this month. This top is also true to size--I followed the size chart and the small also fits me perfectly. A white coat, nude pumps, and a cheerful red clutch round out the ensemble.

This second dressed up Valentine's Day outfit idea features the same top as the first look, this time in black, with a beautiful black and gold jacquard midi skirt. You all already know how much I love my midi skirts, and I adore this sophisticated print with gold thread and multiple textures. While the first look really says "Valentine's Day," I like that this one is more subtle, no pink or red hues here, and really can be a great option for the office or any holiday celebration. Again, I followed the size charts for both pieces and a size small in both fits perfectly. A faux fur vest, my favorite pumps, and my new Chanel bag complete the ensemble.

Which of today's two Valentine's Day looks is your favorite? Please don't hesitate to leave me a comment below to let me know, and if you have not yet seen my Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas Part 1 you can check that out here. Thank you for visiting my blog today, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

  13. I love, love, love the skirts! Years back I had a skirt I ordered from Chicwish and loved. I finally parted with it because I had worn it to most occasions and although it was in mint condition it was time for someone else to love it. NOW I think I need to order one again. How would I choose? I do love the hearts but the black and gold is classic and could be extremely versatile. Either way, you look stunning as usual.
