Winter Style: Cozy Snow Day Layers
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you had a restful weekend and rang in 2022 with your nearest and dearest. If you are familiar with my hometown of Seattle, you know that snow is common in our nearby mountains (we love our skiing and snowboarding in the winter) but we are not used to lingering snow in the city. This last week we saw temperatures in the teens, ice, and light snowfall for almost a full week and that is indeed a rarity here. I know my friends in the Midwest and Northeast U.S. as well as my Canadian friends are laughing at me right now, but as I said we aren't used to those extremes here and it was a surprise! Today I am sharing a cozy layered look that I wore to leave the house this week, grab lunch, and a some groceries. Layers are the name of the game this season, and I don't think you can go wrong with quality wool pieces like my double face coat, Pendleton pom beanie and printed scarf. Please continue reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for warm wool layers that I think are essential for the remainder of winter and right into spring.
The days are starting to get longer, but winter is far from over and thoughtful layering is key to keeping warm and looking stylish. I collected more gorgeous wool and wool blend layers for you to check out in the widget below. Be sure to scroll through to see all of my picks, priced for a range of budgets and with a bunch of options currently priced under $100:
What is your favorite way to add cozy layers for colder temperatures? Please don't hesitate to leave me a comment below to let me know. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope 2022 is off to a great start for you, and that you have a wonderful week!
