Summer Style: Neutral Tones + Designer-Inspired Staples
August is the best time to be in the Seattle area, with long stretches of dry, sunny, and warm days to enjoy al fresco dining, being near or out on the water, and more. Today I am sharing a version of my summer uniform with you that includes a couple of designer-inspired closet staples: a pair of Hermes-inspired sandals and a Chloe-inspired saddle bag. My exact sandals have a small heel and look very similar to the Hermes Oasis sandal at a fraction of the cost (I am wearing a size 8, they run true to size), although the flat Oran style is the most popular and you can see a bunch of similar options farther down in this post. My exact saddle bag has a shape and stitching that is very similar to the Chloe Marci style, a beautiful and extremely versatile bag, and mine is made of high quality leather at a fraction of the cost. You really cannot go wrong with closet staples like these, and in today's outfit I styled them with a crop tank (I am wearing a size small, these run true to size) and a pair of lightweight shorts that are a new addition to my closet. These shorts are a cotton/linen blend and you may notice their high waist design with adjustable straps! I love this style--so comfortable, adjustable for a variety of body types, reasonably priced, and made of organically grown cotton for a more sustainable product. Win-win. I am wearing a size zero regular, I followed the size chart and am very happy with the fit. Please keep scrolling for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for designer-inspired sandals and saddle bags that I think would look fabulous styled this summer and straight into fall.
Yes to all these neutrals! I adore the shorts and love the accessories.

Thank you, Mica! I love the belt detail on these shorts too, it's unique!
DeleteI have never been to Seattle, but I suspect the weather there has been similar to the weather here in New York recently. The white tank top and lightweight tan pleated shorts look like an excellent choice for the hot and somewhat weather we have been having.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for wonderful weeks ahead to you as well!
