Summer Style: Printed Fringed Kimono

After posting several dressed up looks last week (you can see how I styled two new slip dresses here and a little white eyelet dress here, today felt like a great opportunity to share a casual summer outfit. In the past, I have not fully appreciated how versatile a kimono can be, but after seeing several of my favorite bloggers style their kimonos in a variety of fabulous outfits this season I had to jump on board. This lightweight printed fringed kimono is a new addition to my closet and I just love the print; it looks equal parts bohemian and western and has so much styling potential. While this kimono sold out before I could link it for you all, I will keep an eye out in case it comes back in stock. In today's casual look, I styled this printed fringed kimono with a camisole, black denim shorts, wedge slides, a wool fedora, and my small Chanel flap worn as a clutch for a casual movie date. Please continue scrolling for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for lightweight kimonos that I think would look fabulous styled in a variety of summer ensembles.

  9. I can see why this kimono sold out - it's so cute on you! I love the fringe detail and the neutral colours mean it will go with everything! Kimonos are definitely a summer staple for me - I try wear them as often as possible in spring and autumn too, I have a really casual style and they are perfect for it!
