Spring Style: French-Inspired Work Outfit

Monochromatic outfits are still having a moment, and I am loving all of the softer pastel shades that are indicative of spring. You likely saw my recent outfits with a light pink suit and pale blue cropped tweed jacket, and today I want to continue sharing spring workwear trends with a monochromatic French-inspired work look. When I think about French style, I think about combining structured wardrobe staples in such a way as to feel that you've achieved a balance between casual and dressed up, without too many accessories or being "overdone." In this case, I started with this ultra-soft Sezane cardigan in the prettiest sky blue. A classic cardigan is a wardobe staple--this one comes in a bunch of colors and I definitely want more. I'm wearing a size XS and am very happy with the not-too-tight and not-too-loose fit, it works well tucked into my Signed Blake x the Drop wide leg pants. My Burberry trench coat, classic neutral pumps, and favorite accessories round out the look. Please continue scrolling to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for colorful pieces that I think would look fabulous styled together in a monochromatic look this season and beyond.
