Fall Style: Denim Dress + Knee High Boots
While we know that denim is always in style, and straight leg jeans are still reigning supreme, this fall we are also seeing more denim options back on trend like denim maxi skirts and denim dresses. There are a number of celebrities who have been wearing head to toe denim recently, but two women who stood out to me were our former First Lady Michelle Obama who donned a denim dress to the US Open and Taylor Swift who wore a denim minidress to the VMA after-party. If these two influential women from very different backgrounds and career paths are both wearing denim dresses, then I too am in. I purchased my denim dress way back in 2016, it is one of my go-to workwear pieces, and you have seen it styled a few times on the blog here, here, and here. Today I am sharing an updated fall look with this dress that includes a pair of knee high boots (a DVF pair that have also been in my closet since 2016), a striped sweater thrown over my shoulders, my work travel tote, and some favorite accessories.
