Two Ways I am Styling Dresses and Knee Boots This Fall
September is here, if you can believe it, and if you celebrated Labor Day weekend I hope you enjoyed a restful extra day! I have been waiting for some cool-ish weather to style these knee high boots purchased during this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and this past weekend was just the right temperature to take them out and show how I am styling dresses and boots for the summer to fall transition. The first look shares a pink leopard print dress that I have not shared on this blog since this post in February 2020, updated for this season with these cognac boots and my LV Side Trunk PM bag. I still love this dress and its subtle pink leopard print that can be worn any time of year and the fit is extremely flattering. When the weather gets cooler, I will be adding a suede jacket or long cardigan for added warmth. The second look swaps out the leopard print dress for a paisley print silk shirtdress, last seen in my What I Packed and Wore in Costa Rica post. This dress is a lightweight silk blend shirtdress (one of several Veronica Beard pieces that I stalked seasonal sales to purchase) and also ideal for the summer to fall transition. When the weather gets cooler, my Barbour barn jacket will be ideal to add as a waterproof layer. Please continue scrolling to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for transitional dresses and knee boots that I think could look amazing styled this season and beyond.
I really love the first dress!!
