Holiday Outfit Idea: Satin Maxi Skirt + Red Cropped Sweater

This week has been hectic, since it is the last full work week before the holidays, but I had to create this quick post to share a holiday outfit idea before Christmas week! I wore this exact outfit last weekend to a holiday dinner with a group of my dearest girlfriends here in Seattle--a fabulous opportunity to style this cropped red turtleneck sweater for the season. This ensemble is a great example of relaxed glamour: I dressed this casual cozy sweater up with a satin maxi skirt that I found runs large (I am wearing an XXS instead of my usual XS), suede knee high wedge boots, and my YSL Quilted Leather Clutch that I continue to believe is one of the best designer bag deals under $1,000. A few favorite jewelry pieces and red lipstick rounded out this holiday ensemble.
