Spring Style: Jelly Sandals + Cropped Trench + Jeans

Being home for a few weeks without work travel has been great to catch up on my home to-do list, get out to enjoy some of our sunny Seattle spring afternoons, and capture more spring outfits to share with you all. Today I want to share an "old Millennial" take on a casual outfit featuring one of spring's hottest trends: jelly sandals. As an 80's child, I remember wearing fisherman-style jelly sandals in the summer and let's be honest...they were great for the beach/pool, since it didn't matter if they got wet, but once they did and you had to walk any distance you were almost guaranteed to get blisters. They were so cute, though! That being said, there are some much better quality jelly sandals available these days and I picked up this Vince pair in a versatile dark blue recently during a flash sale. I think they are a fun alternative to loafers to wear this spring and I love all of the color options. In today's outfit, I styled these jelly sandals with jeans and a button-up shirt for a weekend outing with my family. My cropped trench, a few favorite accessories, and my go-to carry-all tote (with an adorable bag charm purchased during my winter China trip) round out this weekend-ready ensemble. Please continue scrolling to see more photos and links to either current pieces I am wearing or similar products currently available as I publish this post.
