Blush Moto Jacket + Striped Knee-Length Skirt
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend time with family and friends. It has been warmer than usual this December here in Seattle (we hit a record high of 66 degrees on the 10th!), and I really have not yet needed to break out my snow boots or down jackets. It is great to be able to continue to wear lightweight layers with pieces like this blush moto jacket from the Piperlime Collection. I only have a few pink pieces in my wardrobe, and blush has been so popular this season that I knew I wanted to add something in this color to my closet. This jacket is more versatile than you might initially think and can be paired with many colors. Winter pairings that come to mind are black, burgundy, cognac, grey, and olive in addition to today's navy look. This jacket looks a little bulky on me because it has a boxy shape (I am wearing an XS), and I am trying to decide if it is worth taking in or just leave as is with room for layers. I think I need to wear it a few more times before I decide. For today's outfit, I dressed this blush moto jacket up a bit with a striped knee-length skirt, lightweight wool sweater, and suede cutout pumps. Layered necklaces, gold jewelry, red lips, and my monogrammed Uber clutch top off this day to night look.

Moto jackets are still very much in style this winter, and a great way add color + texture to an outfit. I am currently loving soft colors like blush, ivory, and grey that will transition easily to spring and pair well with winter tones like black, burgundy, cognac, grey, navy, and olive. Check out my picks for moto jackets below, all available online and currently priced at $130 or less:
