Fall Style: Polo Sweater Dress + Knee High Boots
Do you follow seasonal color trends? I am very happy to see this fall's color palette of blush pink (see last week's outfit post), olive green, leopard print, red, and brown that are all already incorporated into my wardrobe. However, as with any collection, I always have room for updates. It is safe to say that I am obsessed with brown tones for fall, and that obsession led to me recently adding this Polo Sweater Dress to my closet. I followed the size chart, ordered an XS, and am happy with both the fit and the rich terra cotta color that goes so nicely with my DVF knee boots that are many years old but still so classic and comfortable. I styled this sweater dress with these favorite boots to share with you today, along with my Fendi First clutch, Hermes belt that I purchased recently in Paris, and gold snake jewelry that I purchased while visiting India this past April. Please forgive my wild hair--it was cooler and muggy over the weekend here in Seattle and I almost didn't post these photos because of how the humidity affects my hair even after straightening. However, I am embracing being real and not worrying about being perfect. Love, love, love this color for fall and on you. It pairs so well with the gold accessories. I am gravitating towards the rich browns as well as darker greens this fall. I honestly haven't even taken out my fall wardrobe or put away my summer clothing because it's been so warm here. But maybe next weekend. I am inspired after seeing your pictures.
