Windowpane Pencil Skirt + Sleeveless Ruffle Sweater

It has been a while since I posted an office look, so today I want to share with you a new outfit with two pieces I picked up last weekend.  I took advantage of Banana Republic's $50 off $100 offer, bought four items and asked the cashier to split the items into two transactions in order to get two $50 discounts.  Win-win for everyone.  This windowpane pencil skirt was an instant favorite with its neutral print and flattering fit, and I chose a regular size over a petite for the 2 extra inches of length.  This sleeveless ruffle sweater was an item I picked up just to try on, but I liked it so much that I bought it too.  The store I visited didn't have an extra small on hand, so I bought the small and I am debating exchanging it for the smaller size.  You can see in these photos how it bunches up a bit at the bottom, but it is supposed to have a loose fit so I need to try a few different outfits before I decide.  I layered a trench dress over these two pieces like a vest, added nude pumps and a red satchel for a pop of color.  Scroll through for my outfit links and more printed pencil skirts that are currently available and perfect to style this summer.
