Today I am linking up with Agi at Vodka Infused Lemonade!
Early spring sunshine makes me want to break out my summer wardrobe, but it isn't warm enough for sleeveless dresses and sandals quite yet. I really wanted to wear this Zara lace dress, so I decided to add a light chambray shirt, a crossbody satchel, and loafer pumps for a preppy casual look. A light chambray shirt is a great layering piece underneath a lace dress because it is on-trend and also adds extra coverage for unpredictable spring weather.
Check out my picks for lace dresses in pretty spring colors, all at reasonable prices of $79 and under, as well as light chambray shirts at $49.95 or less:
Left: Kimchi Blue "Camilla Medallion Lace Dress" in bright green (also available in black, cream, and rose), $69 at Urban Outfitters here
Middle: Way-In "Cutout Lace Skater Dress" in coral, $64 at Nordstrom here
Right: Pim + Larkin "Kensington Lace Chiffon Dress" in purple (also available in white/navy), $79 at Piperlime here
Left: "1969 Chambray Boyfriend Shirt" in light chambray (also available in petite!), $49.95 at the Gap here
Middle: Ali & Kris "Western Snap Women's Chambray Shirt" in light blue, $26.99 at Tilly's here
Right: "Pearl Snap Button Chambray Shirt" in light blue, $24.80 at Forever 21 here
What are your thoughts on this layered look? Do you have a favorite way to layer your summer dresses this time of year? Thanks so much for reading!
