This weekend was sunny and gorgeous here in Seattle, and it really feels like spring!  I am looking forward to longer days, more sunshine, and spring outfits!  =)

It is no secret that the nautical trend is one of my favorite spring styles, and I get so excited every year to see all of the stripes and structured pieces in primary colors red, yellow, blue, and white.  One article of clothing I see time and time again is the flared or a-line striped skirt.  Mine is an older skirt from H&M, paired with other timeless pieces: a navy blazer, red patent pumps, and a skinny red belt.  I love this look because even though the components that make up the outfit are old, they still look current and on-trend.

There are many gorgeous flared striped skirts in stores this spring to create gorgeous nautical outfits.  Check out my save and splurge picks below:

Left: Save on the Collective Concepts "Stripe Skirt" in navy, $68 at Nordstrom here
Middle: "Stripe skirt" in black/ivory (available in petite and tall!), $69.99 at Banana Republic here
Right: Save on the "Lydia Stripe Skirt" in black/white, $42 at Nasty Gal here

Left: "Striped Barry Skirt" in donovan yellow patula stripe, $298 at Kate Spade here
Middle: Nanette Lepore "Ka-Pow A-Line Skirt" in white/navy, $248 at Nordstrom here
Right: Girls from Savoy "Scalloped Stripes Ponte Skirt" in black motif, $98 at Anthopologie here

How would you style a flared or a-line striped skirt?  Thank you for reading!
