Holiday Outfit Idea: Red Peplum Dress + Bows

It's Christmas week, and there are many great reasons to celebrate!  Personally, I am thankful for an extra day off this week (only Christmas Day, but I will happily take it) and excited to spend that extra time with family and dear friends.  My family also has a tradition of going to the holiday symphony together, and I am very much looking forward to that this week.  This time of year is so much fun because there are many reasons to get dressed up, and today I want to share with you another holiday outfit idea that can take you from the office to evening festivities (if you missed it, check out last week's holiday outfit idea here).  I purchased this red wool peplum dress from J Crew Factory last year, but the shape and gorgeous color are still very much in style.  Red is one of my favorite colors and I wear it any time of the year.  For today's outfit, I added gold jewelry, nude bow pumps, and my Ted Baker bow clutch to keep the rest of the outfit neutral and let the dress have the attention it deserves.  A blazer or cropped sweater can be added to this dress for office hours, and a pashmina or fur wrap would be a perfect addition for the evening.

Pumps: Purchased in Shanghai, currently loving the the Louise Et Cie "Nadie Peep-Toe Bow Pumps" in bisque (available in three other colors), $139 at Dillard's here and the budget-friendly "Factory Isabelle Bow Pumps" in misty fog, $69 at J Crew Factory here
Clutch: Ted Baker (no longer available), similar Kate Spade "Holly Street Remi Clutch" in ostrich egg (also available in black), $198 at Nordstrom here
Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Henry" in gold, $250 at Nordstrom here
Necklace: Forever 21 (old), check out the Punch "Oval Link & Bead Necklace" in gold, $17.99 at Saks Off Fifth here
