Travel Log: Florence Part 3 (Sunrise Wedding Shoot)

I hope you have been enjoying my wedding posts! Today I want to share one more post from our wedding weekend: a sunrise photo shoot we arranged with our photographers. We knew that we would not be in a position to wake up early the day after our wedding (Sunday), so we gave ourselves a day to recover and met up at the Ponte Vecchio at 6am Monday morning. Waking up at 5am was a little tough, but worth it to beat the crowds. I put my dress back on, piled up my hair in a sock bun, and did my makeup how I usually do to go out--relatively simple but basically using my Naked2 pallet, liquid liner, and magnetic lashes. Since it was a bit cold that early in the morning, I also added a faux fur capelet in some of the photos. We had a ton of fun walking around three of Florence's main tourist attractions, able to take as many photos as we wanted without anyone there, and the early morning light was absolutely gorgeous! Please scroll through to see a series of photos from our three stops: the Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza della Signoria, and the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore with its famous red-tiled Duomo and Bell Tower.

I hope you enjoyed this post and the last couple of posts that shared a peek into our wedding weekend in beautiful Florence, Italy! You can see more photos of our wedding weekend on Eva's blog here, and don't forget to check out the photos from both our Welcome Dinner here and Wedding Day here. This concludes my posts on Florence, but please stay tuned for a few more Italy travel logs from the Amalfi Coast and Rome where we spent the week after our wedding with a group of dear friends. Thank you for visiting my blog today, and I hope you have a fabulous rest of your week!
