Spring Style: Python Booties + Classic Trench Coat

Hello and happy Monday, everyone! We are now in week seven of social distancing and working from home here in Seattle--it is crazy that March and April have pretty much disappeared with us staying inside, working from home, and only leaving the house to pick up essential items. Cancelling three trips already during this timeframe makes me want to cry, but there are bright spots like dear friends who drove to our home this weekend to drop off a a goodie bag of beauty products (just because) and totally made my day! Maintaining normalcy during this time is important for everyone's sanity, and I am still following a normal routine to get dressed, put on a bit of makeup, and do my hair regardless of whether I am going out to get groceries or sitting at my computer to work. One example is my casual outfit that I am sharing with you today: a mix of simple, classic pieces with a pop of trendy python print worn to run Saturday morning errands. I first shared these booties at the beginning of March in this outfit post, and today I styled them with a simple white tee, straight leg jeans, and my classic Burberry trench coat. It is pretty awesome how these trendy animal print booties can take an otherwise basic outfit to a whole new level! Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for python print booties and neutral trench coats that I think can make perfect outfit pairings this spring.

  5. I love it, the booties just add a bit of an edge!

I agree re: having some normalcy. I feel so much more productive if I stick to my routine of getting ready and dressed in the morning rather than hanging out in my pyjamas all day!

  9. Your trench is such a great classic piece, and I love the fun added touch of the printed boots! I haven't been getting dressed every day but when I have gotten out of loungewear or pyjamas I have been wearing a lot of classic wardrobe basics like this :)
