Transitional Style: Python Booties
The transitional period in between winter and spring is both a fun challenge to style outfits during fickle weather and a great time to score major deals on the prior season's pieces. The key to scooping up deals this time of year is picking items that have longevity--ones that can be worn through spring and even hopefully even be saved for next fall. Since we know that animal print is not going anywhere anytime soon, one of my picks for transitional pieces to snag this time of year is a pair of animal print booties. I had been watching this pair for a while, considering what I would wear them with, and the list of outfit ideas just kept growing. When they recently went on sale, I ordered a pair and have been wearing them on repeat. In today's outfit, I styled these python booties with a cozy fleece-lined sweatshirt (also on sale), a new pair of super-soft organic denim jeans, and my new favorite wool hat. Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for animal print booties to inspire more outfits for the winter to spring transition.

Since animal print styles are not going anywhere, and I think that a versatile pair of booties is the easiest way to incorporate this trend into your outfit, I collected more great options in the widget below. Be sure to scroll through to see all of my picks, priced for a range of budgets.
