Spring Style: Blue Plaid Blazer + High-Waist Straight Leg Jeans

Remember how last week I shared that my go-to spring outfit combination is going to be a relaxed blazer and jeans? Well, get ready to see plenty of versions of this comfortable and stylish pairing! Jeans are a tricky thing for me to buy, because it is tough to find pairs that really fit my body without a gap in the waist and needing to be hemmed. After reading many positive reviews and seeing the attractive price tag under $100, I recently took a chance and purchased these high-waist straight leg jeans designed specifically for an hourglass figure. I have a pair of denim shorts in a size 26 from this same brand that stretched out to be too big after some wear, so I crossed my fingers and ordered a size 25 ankle length. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that this pair of jeans fits perfectly with room for my booty and no waist gap! I'm tempted to order the bone color as well. In today's outfit, I paired these jeans with a blue plaid H&M blazer (last year's style), a cropped tank (I'm wearing a small), comfy sneakers, a structured tote, and gold jewelry. Please keep reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for blazers and jeans for inspiration to create your own spring uniform.

  10. Such a classic outfit! Love the blazer and of course, your bag. Btw, I can relate. Jeans shopping is the worst for me. Sizes are literally so different from brand to brand. STS Blue and Madewell are the two that I found that are consistent for my body at least. So glad you found a pair that works well for you. It's such a great feeling, right?!
