Summer Style: White Straight Leg Jeans + Hermes Oasis Sandals

 I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I have been a bit behind in getting this week's post published, mainly because I just spent a couple of wonderful weeks in Peru on a bucket list trip that included a visit to Machu Picchu. More on that soon, as I am sorting through thousands of photos now that I am home, but today I want to share a casual summer look with you that features my new Hermes Oasis sandals. When most people think of Hermes sandals, they think of the flat Oran style that we see bloggers/influencers wearing most often. However, I prefer a small heel and went with the Oasis style with a 2" heel. The color is called "gold," but they are a rich tan that is a perfect and versatile hue to go with pretty much any outfit. I followed my usual European size logic, ordered a 38.5 (I usually wear a 38.5 in round toe styles, and a 39 in pointed toe styles), and the size fits well. I took these sandals with me to Peru and while they need a little breaking in they are quite comfortable. In today's look, I styled these sandals casually with off-white high-rise straight leg jeans that may look familiar since I also own this same style in a light wash and a distressed wash, a floral print bodysuit, my white Fendi First clutch, tan Gucci belt, and favorite jewelry pieces. I am definitely going to be wearing these sandals all summer long!
