Winter Style: Cozy Cabin Vibes
How cold is it during the holiday season where you live? Here in Seattle, we can expect December weather to include rain rather than snow in the city and temperatures in the low 40's F (4-7 degrees C). However, our nearby mountains have already seen significant snowfall and several local ski resorts are now open for the season. This time of year I start to think about ski weekends and cozy cabin getaways with friends, and of course the warm casual outfits to match. Today I am sharing a casual winter look that I think would be ideal to wear for a weekend in the mountains whether your plans are skiing, snowshoeing, completing a puzzle, cozying up to a fire with some good food and company, or all of the above. If you have been following me recently you already know that I am currently partnering with Sézane to share their stylish, wear-everywhere pieces and this wool and mohair sweater has an on-trend cropped fit plus a neutral geometric print that says "take me to the mountains." I followed the size chart, ordered a size XS, and am very happy with the fit. I styled this comfy and warm sweater with white bootcut crop jeans, tan lug sole booties, my go-to beige YSL Medium Envelope crossbody bag, and a Burberry quilted jacket for additional warmth. Please continue scrolling to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for cozy cabin weekend-ready sweaters from Sézane.
