Transitional Style: Bustier Top + Blazer

Wishing you a restful long weekend if you have one for Presidents' Day in the US! I count myself lucky to not be working today, and also to be home this week after a couple of busy weeks of work travel with typical winter flight delays. This weekend I have been catching up on sleep, catching up with friends, and catching up on workouts. In addition, I had a chance to assess recent purchases including this beautiful bustier top. The bustier or corset top trend is back this spring, I always need new seasonal tops to refresh my closet, and I decided I needed to jump on board. I followed the size chart, ordered a size 2, and am very happy with the fit. I resisted the urge to style this top with skinny jeans, instead opting for a current favorite high waist straight leg style, then added an oversize blazer, booties, and several of my favorite accessories to round out this on-trend transitional look. What do you think? Would you wear a bustier top this spring? Please continue on to see more photos, outfits links, and more of my picks for bustier tops and blazers that I think would look amazing styled this season and beyond.
